The focal of this necklace starts with a handmade Bronze rectangular pendant (1" x 1/2"). This piece dangles beneath an Aventurine rondelle that is cushioned between 2 handmade Bronze discs. All bronze pieces were handmade with BRONZclay* This clay was conditioned, shaped, textured, dried and refined. Following several hours of kiln firing, the resulting solid bronze pieces were polished to reveal a warm golden brushed finish.
The pendant is suspended from antiqued brass cable chain. This necklace closes with an antiqued brass lobster clasp and is approximately 18" long.
*BRONZclay consists of 11% tin, 89% copper, water and non-toxic binding materials. The binding materials vaporize completely during the kiln-firing process, leaving a solid bronze piece with a density 90% that of cast bronze. This precious metal is very hard and durable - making it perfect for jewelry!
