Association Special Interest Jewelry

This piece was custom designed for the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses (CACCN).

The focal point is a handcrafted Fine Silver* pendant (1" diameter). This piece started out as Precious Metal Clay (PMC). The clay was conditioned and then stamped with a custom designed rubber stamp. The clay was then dried, kiln fired and polished.

The pendant and charms are suspended from an 18" - 1mm Snake Chain. The three charms represent CACCN's colors. They are: 1 - Swarovski teardrop in Siam, 1 - Swarovski teardrop in Jet and 1 - green Freshwater Pearl.

*Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. Precious Metal Clay is comprised of fine silver particles that are in a binder which burns away when fired in a kiln leaving only pure silver behind. This metal is gorgeous, and it is more resistant to tarnishing than sterling silver.
