Sterling Silver, Hammered Bronze and Prehnite Earrings

These earrings are lightweight, unique, versatile and sure to get compliments!

Each earring is composed of 1 handmade Bronze "Stix" component (1-1/2" x 1/8"). These components were hand made with Bronze Clay (BRONZclay*). The clay was rolled, hammered, shaped, dried, refined and kiln fired for several hours. The resulting solid bronze "stix" were then tumbled and polished to reveal a warm golden hue.

Dangling beneath each "stix" is a 5-6mm Prehnite Briolette. These beads have a wonderful milky, but sparkly quality. They have been hand wrapped with non-tarnish artistic wire.

The dangles are suspended from sterling silver french ear wires. These earrings are 2-3/8" long from the top of the ear wires to the bottom tip of the dangle.

*BRONZclay consists of 11% tin, 89% copper, water and non-toxic binding materials. The binding materials vaporize completely during the kiln-firing process, leaving a solid bronze piece with a density 90% that of cast bronze. This precious metal is very hard and durable - making it perfect for jewelry!
